Cokesbury Court Apartments get new management

You asked for it. Resident Life is taking over management on Aug. 1 of Cokesbury Court Apartments, 2601 N. Kentucky Ave. The change was initiated after Student Government Association President Jeff Riles issued a presidential proclamation to university officials.

Some staff attempt to quit smoking, others find alternatives
For Laurel Redding not lighting up is hard. The law advancement administrative assistant decided to quit smoking in June, when university officials initiated the campus wide ban on tobacco. Redding said she attends the cessation meetings and is glad they're available.

Stolen vehicle recovered

Police reported a stolen car was recovered on campus. According to police reports at 4:15 a.m. Tuesday, July 15 at Northwest 27th Street and Virginia Ave, Officer Mike Bell observed a car parked and unoccupied Officer Bell checked the license plate and confirmed the car was stolen..
