Fraternity selected for installation

Plans are underway for a new fraternity on campus. The expansion committee recently approved the decision to install a new chapter of Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI) on campus. The committee consists of four administrators and four students. FIJI was selected by officials because it’s the best fit for students and will offer them what they need, said Corey Hill, Interfraternity Council adviser. Full story

Stars win SAC tournament title game

The women’s basketball team kept their winning streak alive last weekend, picking up the Sooner Athletic Conference tournament title. The team has won 23 straight games heading into next week’s national tournament. The Stars won the SAC tournament title game, 62-55, against Oklahoma Baptist on Saturday at the Sawyer Center.

Officials to host women’s leadership panel

Meinders School of Business officials will host a panel discussion Thursday, March 25 about women in leadership featuring executive panelists from Teleflora, Coppermark Bank, Love’s, Sonic and others.
